Chris has been with the State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB) since 2001. SWIB manages the retirement asset of the fully funded and well diversified Wisconsin Retirements System. Chris is responsible for managing SWIB’s direct lending portfolio originating both senior and mezzanine loans to companies across the United States and manages SWIB’s venture capital portfolio, a global portfolio consisting of both fund commitments and direct company investments. Prior to SWIB, Chris was a Vice President in the wholesale banking division of a large regional bank for over 10 years working with companies in various industries. Chris holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, a Masters in Business Administration with an Accounting Concentration from Edgewood College and is a CFA charter holder.
