Too many of our homeless neighbors are ill, without hope, and have no to turn to. With your help, we can guide them out of the darkness and towards recovery.

Currently, we work with a community-wide waiting list called Coordinated Entry. This system does an excellent job of triaging the homeless and vulnerable in our community, but in reality, we are only housing a fraction of the homeless among us. Based on 2022 numbers, the county-wide system successfully placed only 17% of families and 5% of singles who are homeless. For Housing Initiatives, our housing units are at capacity and we have no extra apartment homes to provide. Building capacity in terms of units is our greatest need.

Your gift is an investment that enables Housing Initiatives to purchase existing properties, or to purchase land and build new apartment homes. Every unit we acquire or build means one more home for someone who desperately needs it. Your support helps build this reality.
