Doug Kirk
President
Doug Kirk joined the board of Housing Initiatives in 2016 after a career as a clinical social worker with the VA and Journey Mental Health Center. It was a natural fit since he often worked with HI when specific clients were residents of Housing Initiatives.
He is also a disaster mental health response volunteer with the American Red Cross and previously with Madison Street Medicine.

For over 30 years, Housing Initiatives has ended homelessness for more than 800 men, women, and veterans who suffer from a mental illness by providing them with a permanent home and supportive services to help them lead a healthier life.
