Miwa Grajkowski-Blas

Property and Office Operations

When people ask where Miwa is from, she doesn’t have a quick answer. Growing up in a military family, she moved a lot. When her father retired from the Air Force, he moved the family to rural Wisconsin to the dairy farm he grew up on.

Miwa has a varied background. She served in the Air Force as a Cryptologic Linguist. She taught piano, was a Special Education teacher in the Verona Area School District and Madison Metropolitan School District. She also served as staff and faculty at Edgewood College.

Miwa has always had a strong desire to do work that supports positive change in people’s lives. She is excited and grateful to be part of the Housing Initiatives team.
