WHAT IS A MAINTENANCE EMERGENCY?

Most maintenance issues are not emergencies. True maintenance emergencies are things that put your health or the building at immediate risk. Examples are things like no heat in winter, the loss of electrical power to an entire area, water overflowing a sink, or a damaged entry door that will not lock. They are things that require quick attention to prevent further damage or harm. The question to ask yourself before calling in a maintenance emergency is, “Can this wait until the morning or a weekday, or does this need someone’s attention right now?”

If you have a maintenance emergency, call 608-334-7886.
